Jay continues International Tour with the MTV Awards and Royalty
JS continued on his international promotional duties when he landed in Moscow late last week to begin promoting the launch of his album 'My Own Way'. In advance of his headline performance at the MTV Russia Awards, held at the renowned Luzniki Arena in the heart of Moscow. JS performed 'Ride It' to an estimated TV audience of over 90 million, having been the biggest international hit across Russia for 2008. Topping the likes of Madonna, Usher and Coldplay in the charts.
Staying just off Red Square, Jay had time to walk around the capital. Taking in the boutiques and a number of famous landmarks. Then it was off to the SoHo Rooms for his first ever public performance in this exclusive venue.
The sub zero temperatures were a stark contrast to the searing heat of Dubai. Where a few weeks previously JS was invited to perform for the Emir of Dubai - Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his daughter in the middle of the Emirate desert!
Alongside MC Zani and his dancers (who recently performed alongside Jay at the 2008 MOBO's. Jay performed a selection of hits from his album 'My Own Way', and then spent the night hanging out with Akon, who was also a guest of the Dubai royal family.
